Ask Seek and Knock

I like this passage but sometimes I think we ask for so many material things without really considering God has already given us everything we need.

We may want a big house a fast car or that brand new computer but maybe We should consider that God wants us to be grateful for what we already have. Honestly think about it if he wanted us to have it we would.

Is it truly believed that God wants to bless us. Just like the rest of the passage states What father Would give his son a Stone when he asks for bread.

I have began to pray and ask God for the wisdom and the things that I do want and I always pray that if it's his will that it would be done. I believe if we put God before the things that we want and ask him to be involved in our decisions that he will ultimately bless us. We need to be careful,.Not all the things we want or need are think that we need are the best for us in the long run.
