In the Bible, "abide" (from Greek meno) means to remain, stay, dwell, or be continuously connected with Christ, signifying a deep, active, and enduring relationship, not just a feeling, involving drawing life from Him, obeying His Word, and bearing spiritual fruit. It's about a constant, intentional presence, like a branch connected to a vine, dependent on the source for life, power, and fruitfulness, as emphasized in John 15.

I have been meditating and praying on this and its not an easy task. To try and purposefully dwell in the spirit has been difficult to say the least. I mean I think about God and pray all day long and I am trying so hard to be mindful but life has a way of getting complicated and busy sometimes. But today as I was reading the word of the day I was amazed and inspired how God literally communicated to me through his word. I dont think its a coincidence that this word of the day showed up when it did. So ask yourself when was the last time you were abiding in him and making a conscious effort to stay connected? Let's keep trying to Abide every day!!
